My Story
February 2005 I (Leon) was hit with a rare medical condition and nearly died, I was on life support for a week while they figured out what was wrong. God gave me another chance. I fought for years to work. I had to give up work full-time. I applied for disability. I was denied through several steps of the process. I took it to Federal court and won. Then in 2020, I had brain surgery to help with tremors. It was a God send. But I got a brain infection, which caused a stroke. God gave me another chance.
While fighting for disability, I had no income. So we searched online for a direct sales possibility Dawn could do. We liked primitive country decor and we found a company called At Home America. As luck would have it, they went out of business without warning while we were collecting orders and doing our first party. We searched and found Signature Homestyles. It was a little-known company especially here in our areaof Delaware at that time. We figured out home decor is not a consumable product, unlike customers for Scentsy who keep coming back for that great scent experience. Dawn and I were friends with another boy scout parent, she sold Scentsy. I was like that stuff is too expensive. Dawn joined Scentsy anyway. I have evolved since then and have smelled the pure goodness of scents from our Scentsy.
Dawn worked the business for a while even with a lady who also sold Scentsy down the road. They became friends and sold at events together. But Dawn reached a point where she was knee-deep in her 9-5 job and college. So I took over, the better I work our Scentsy business the more we get paid. We now have two grandchildren and havw moved to South Carolina to be by them. We took a chance trying Scentsy and it sure has paid off. If your ready to take a chance,
